X doesn't start after "Fast boot without recompiling the kernel"

I followed this wiki and now I boot the computer and it gives an error "failed to start x server"

http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Fas … the_kernel

I think it's the udev part of the wiki that it's causing this problem. How can I reverse it?

You might wanna start examining X's log rather than start digging elsewhere. If udev fails you wouldn't even get to that point.
