Ugly graphics & fonts

Well, everywhere except in GTK apps i have ugly fonts, and the pictures looks ugly to (includeing in GTK apps), i have installed nvidia drivers and have runed nvidia-settings and had set everything to best quality. here is screenshot:

look at joomla site that borders :S, and in urxvt prompt "-home/n0p-"..

Are you referring to the color banding? And if you are, are you running xcompmgr? If so, it's creating the banding. I don't use xcompmgr, so I don't know anything about shadow settings.

well, if i look at that image in windows or some other linux distribution that image is more clear..

First setup your DPI http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Xor … Size.2FDPI
Then choose correct fonts, filters, setup antialiasing, hinting and what ever else is required until fonts look good to you http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Fonts

could be graphics driver issue


make sure your xorg is configured properly
