Error when trying Scorched3d

Hi,
Newly installed arch Laptop and I ran pacman S Scorched3d and everything installed correctly without any trouble.

Using the "nvidia" graphics driver.

When trying to start the game ill receive the following error message:

libwx_gtk2u_xrc-2.6.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such fire or directory

See if installing wxgtk-2.6 helps. Then submit a bug report for scorched3d to get the dependencies fixed.

Yea it help so could enter the game menu, but when pressing the Play button I get:

The Scorched3d process terminated unexpectedly.

Would you like to load the failsafe scorched3d settings?
This gives the best chance of working but at the cost of graphical detail.
You can adjust this later in the Scorched3D display settings dialog.
Note: Most problems can be fixed by using the very latest drivers
for your graphics card.

Maybe something wrong with my drivers...=(

i had this same problem... unfortunately, i cant rmemeber what i did to fix it; if i do, i'll come back here

however, even after i got past that, it still crashed pretty reliably

Scorched3D in arch is missing the fftw dependency.  Just install fftw and it will work.
