Cyrillic files and folders do not show on ntfs partiton

Hello there, the problem is that mine created in windows environment folders and files with names in cyrillics do not show while their partitions are mounted with ntfs-3g - neither in nautilus, nor konqueror or pcmanfm, even these folders could not be shown in the console. Any solutions? I suppose these files and folders are with the cp 1251 encoding, typical for windows.

Re: Cyrillic files and folders do not show on ntfs partiton

you have to set the correct locales in /etc/fstab, in de options line set locale=de_AT.utf8 (in my case, for austria), change that de_AT.utf8 to your locale code and reboot and it should work wink

Thank you, I'll try that, but I noticed something else - the folders and files with specific spanish characters are missing too - is there a way to mount it with bulgarian and spanish encoding?
