Kmail don't send out mail

Hi,
I'm puzzled to fix the problem how Kmail always give up when I want to send an email.
This has come as when I upgrade to KDE 4.1, I don't know if setting are involved, but all seem taken from the previous Kmail.

Any Idea?

Same problem here with Kontakt when trying to send an e-mail: Kontakt (kmail) first crashes and after restarting it, it can send the e-mail without any problem. (kde 4.1.3)

I can confirm this behaviour. Though sometimes it works. The best workaround is to enable automatic sending when checking for messages. So that the message will be send automatically when restarted.

I hope this is fixed in the 4.2 release.
