Expanding windows in compiz-fusion is laggy

I've just installed Arch on my new linux box and, since this one has power to spare, I figured I would check out compiz. I have an 8600GT, 4 gigs of ram, and a Q6600 if it matters.

The wobbly windows and all that look fine but if I click the bottom right of my firefox window and resize, it appears choppy and it is difficult to get the window the size that I want. Any suggestions? Is this normal?

I beleive that this is a problem with the nvidia drivers. Which means waiting for nvidia to fix it.

It might be worth checking at nvnews to see if there are any config options that might help:

I use compiz, nvidia drivers, and do not have this problem.

Right now this looks more like a bug in Xorg. I have a similar problem with the ati driver (no compiz, but compositing enabled).
