Thanks i got mine working, but i had to install tclib, not sure why it wasn't auto downloaded as an amsn dependency :s

I'v einstalled the newest version of amsn from the repository, and also installed tcllib and tls-1.5. and I have selected the path to the tls library in the advanced settings. I have tried both /usr/lib and /usr/lib/tls-1.5, but it still comes up saying that it can't find tls installed.

I think it needs all 3 tls files in one directory.  I made a symlink of libtls1.50.so in the tls directory.  Like this

ln -s /usr/lib/libtls1.50.so /usr/lib/tls1.50/libtls1.50.so

Then point the tls library path in amsn to /usr/lib/lintls1.50.so

tls 1.5 is broken according to AMSN's FAQ..  They have a trick to fix it though...  I had to do this to get the new amsn working..

I had to:

cp /usr/lib/tls1.50/libtls1.50.so /home/kiepmad/.amsn/plugins/tls1.50/libtls-1.50.so

Just rebuilt the amsn-svn from aur and I still get the error with tkcximage, the standard amsn package doesn't send me to hotmail correctly. I'll flag the amsn-svn as out of date.

I've the same problem.. JUst compiled the svn versiuon (after a tcl/tk update) and no one version of amsn it's usable..
