X started, not accepting input. (solved)

Hello, I have a Dell Vostro 1500 laptop with an Nvidia GeForce 8600M graphics card. Keyboard and mouse(touchpad) are, I'm assuming, defaults. I have started to install Arch today, but I can't get X running as desired. It starts, and shows windows and stuff, but it doesn't accept input from my mouse or keyboard.

how did you solve this? I have no mouse and no keyboard, what did you do to fix it? I need to be able to use the keyboard or the mouse to use this link above...
how do I get to there.
I have absolutely no control of the system to do any fixing...
anyway around this?

Deadlylife -

I'm sure everyone would greatly appreciate it if you would kindly post your solution so others in the forum, that might have the same issue, would know how to solve as well. Thanks.
