Openbox maximized windows

This might be a stupid question, but I'll ask anyway.
I've noticed that when I maximize a window in openbox it loses its borders.
Is this normal and have I noticed just now ? I don't recall it behaving that way, is there a setting for this ?

Normal behaviour, not sure how (if) you can change it.

Re: Openbox maximized windows

It sounds as though you've mixed up "ToggleFullscreen" and "ToggleMaximizeFull".

Nope, ToggleMaximizeFull is what I'm talking about.

Re: Openbox maximized windows

perhaps define what you mean by "borders" a little better, preferably with the openbox theme reference to what you're describing

it's my understanding that when ToggleMaximizeFull is on, border.width should be 0. if you're looking for more margin on a maximized window, that's what padding.width is for. if you mean to say the window.active.border which houses window.active.title and window.active.buttons has disappeared in all themes, then something's definitely wrong

does it happen on all themes? or just one in particular. if so, have a look in ~/.themes/name/openbox-3/themerc

Re: Openbox maximized windows

@moljac024
*edit*
nvm, I don't have borders either when I maximize, only the titlebar

@string
