[SOLVED] Hplip Not Working

I updated my system pacman -Syu and it is now working

I have used the AUR to compile HPLIP  It is not working.  It gives me the error: warning: CUPSEXT could not be loaded. Please check HPLIP installation.

No one seems to know how to solve this problem.

Is there a way to use a generic driver to run my hp deskjet 3740 printer?

Thanks

Re: [SOLVED] Hplip Not Working

Hello!

I use extra/hplip 2.8.10-2 with my HP 5740 and it work fine.
Why do you need to build the one from AUR?
