how setting nvidia card for my htpc/Plasma

hi
i have a LG 42PR Plasma
and a nvidia card with DVI output
i'm planning to use it some times for watch x264 content on my TV
how do i get the fullscreen when i plugged my PC to the plasma?
i did it, using S-video, but i'm loosing some pixels of the screen
i mean, i can watch my entire desktop, but in the center of the Plasma
what do i do?
i must go to nvidia-settings?
i don't want to modify my xorg.conf, so, if i can get the resolution on the plasma, that will be fine...
thanks

Re: how setting nvidia card for my htpc/Plasma

probably, you'll need to setup a metamode for your tv. Have a look on nvidia's documentation or google for it. Probably, is related to refresh frequency. The image looks to big for you? then the refresh is too slow for your screen.

Have a look at that. Right now, I don't recall the exact parameters to define a metamode on xorg.conf

They say that if you play a Win cd backward you hear satanic messages. That's nothing! 'cause if you play it forwards, it installs windows.
