what is this? can't seem to update my system today.

Maybe try to change mirror?
I think (not sure though) the database is updated against a main database file, so your mirror may not be up to date with that (thus your mirror is not up to date).

I just started getting that too, but the weird thing is it doesn't have any problems updating it. I've never seen this before, and I don't really know what's wrong with it to be honest, since it can always find the packages just find after I press y.

BTW I use yaourt, I'll try it with pacman next time but there's no new packages right now, so yeah

yeah just using pacman, everythings fine. unless, the mirrors sync during the interm.
