I'm currently using alienarena-svn (the regular alienarena package doesn't compile for me)
The game works fine, but there's no sound. I found a couple solutions on the alienarena forums, but none of them had any effect. Many of them referred to files which I could not find with yaourt -Ql alienarena-svn. Has anyone gotten the sound to work using the AUR package?
Edit: I just realized that there are three openarena executables in the package compiled by openarena-svn, and openarena-sdl is the one that has sound. I can now get the game to play with sound, but I'm wondering if this is the correct solution. Is alienarena (the executable) supposed to have sound through OSS? (Or OSS Emulation through ALSA?)
