Kernel 2.6 and alsa-driver-package/gnomemeeting -- question

Hello!

I'm running a Kernel 2.6.7 now i have problems gnomemeeting and teamspeak recognizing my microphone. I set capture to Microphone and i can hear my vios over the speakers, but teamspeak and gnomemeeting do not react on mircophone-input sad. Someone gave me the hint to activate capture for the ADC-Channel of my Terratec DMX XFire 1024 soundcard. But with alsamixer there is no way to activate capture for it:

So i wanted to ask if it is possible to install newst alsa-driver package with pacman, or does it conflict with the Kernel-builtin alsa drivers? I hope the new alsa-drivers could solve the problem or does anybody have another hint?

I have had problems with using a mic and alsamixer. Try playing around in the settings in gnome-volume-control. Seems to get it working for me usually
