[solved] entrance doesn't start a WM/DE

Hi,
I switched to e17 recently and I'm pretty happy with it. But I can't use entrance anymore since today. It just refused to further work. If I login it always sends me back to the login-screen. This is the corresponding daemon.log:

With gdm everything works fine, also e17. It's just entrance which makes problems. Any idea what the reason for this could be?

well if u could remove the config file from ur home directory  ~/.e make sure that u make a backup of ur config before u remove it and see how it behaves then

just a few debugging tips for u since it is alpha according to the wiki,

It may be your Entrance theme - try going back to the default. I have to do this for a while after every Entrance upgrade, although I cannot recall if the error is identical to the one you have listed.

One thing that's always worth trying when you're dealing with E17 is to simply rebuilt the package if changing the theme doesn't work. Grab the Entrance build files from AUR or ABS, rebuild, and reinstall.
