Using Grip 3.3.1.
I have Grip set to automatically start ripping when I insert a CD. I also have it set to eject the CD when done. However, Grip rips all the tracks and then starts over at track 1 and re-rips the whole CD again. It does this over and over until I stop it manually. I've tried every combination of settings I can think of.
Why? And how do I fix it?

I don't know that program but I guess that it fails to eject the CD somehow and then scans it again because it thinks it is new. Can other apps eject CDs?

That's the only program I've tried with CDs. I can right-click/eject CDs with no problem.
That does sound like a logical explanation. I'll look and see if anyone has had eject problems with Grip.
Btw: Grip is a CD ripping program for Gnome.
Thanks for the replay.

Yes, looks like you are right. Unfortunately Grip is no longer developed. I suppose I could use manual settings.
I think I'll give Sound Juicer a try.
Thank you for the help.
