I've enable framebuffer on grub putting vga=xxx in grub configuration. The resolution works fine, but it's very slow to cat files or ls directories. I only add vga in kernel line on grub. Would I have do anything else? For example load nvidia (My graphic card is nvidia) module?

You should not have to load any module unless you aren't using the stock kernel which uses vesafb by default. What graphics card are you using?

My graphic card is a Geforce 8600m GT. On X I'm using the nvidia proprietary driver.

You could try uvesafb, it's in the wiki. It has multiple options to tweak - you might be able to get something faster.
