where does catalyst control center (amdcccle) store settings?

where does catalyst control center (amdcccle) store its settings when run as user?
someone in the ubuntuforums said that they're stored under /etc/ati/amdpcsdb even when run as user. but that cannot be!
there are no similar files under ~. any clues?

that's really true! unbelievable! even as user...
i ran amdcccle now and the time stamps of  /etc/ati/amdpcsdb changed.
isn't this very vulnerable? as user change smth system-wide?
