Sound card Issues

I've my Arch updated.

When I execute alsaconf this doen't find my sound card.

When I execute /etc/rc.d/alsa start I get this error:

Unknown hardware: "SI7018" "ICEnsemble ICE1232,=x800f800f P P" "AC97a:49434511 AC97m:800f800f" "0x1039" "0x7018"
Hardware is initialized using a guess method.

Any idea??? Thanks!

I've got the same problem. I've been yahooing for some answers, but without any success. Is this really so difficult question to answer?

If you guys still have the problem, to fix it manually stop the alsa daemon and then restart it.

/etc/rc.d/alsa stop

then,

/etc/rc.d/alsa start
