KDE 3.3.1 is seeping in after the pacman -Suy command, wheras it has not even been anounced on the KDE homepage! Arch is like what gentoo used to be... cutting very sharp edge!
Kudos to you speedy devils!
Now, what about openoffice 1.1.3? ;-) hint nudge hint..

I noticed the same thing when running ABS (my mirror only syncs twice a day or sth). Isn't it supposed to be in testing? I do not want to run some CVS version.

it is THE release and no cvs version
package maintainers get access about a week before the release is announced on the kde website, so that the packaging and synching of the mirrors is finished in this week and anyone can get the new release when announced
archlinux package maintainers are simply more efficient then maintainers on other distros ;-)

hi
the new kdebindings are build with no java support, because it doesn't compile
if you need it please stay with kde 3.3.0 until it is fixedfor the rest
enjoy the new kde![]()

I don't know why the other KDE packages were also updated. Maybe it's a question of dependency.
EDIT: dp was quicker than me to post and answered my question about the other packages.
