Question about nautilus

I've been fooling around with Arch linux for the last month, and I decided to try compiz standalone. I got it working, but I need to install nautilus as my file manager because of utf8 automounting (Japanese and Korean filenames), which as far as I know is not possible on thunar (which I would rather install). So my question is:

(1) Is it possible to get thunar to automount utf8?
and (2) If not, is there a way to do a "minimal" install of nautilus?

Any help will be appreciated. big_smile

Re: Question about nautilus

Have you tried pcmanfm ? Its developed by Hong Jen Yee from Taiwan and they say it is multilingual .

Re: Question about nautilus

It doesnt automount. It shows icons for unmounted drives in the sidebar, and mounts them automatically on clicking. Needs hal and gamin/fam.
