My problem: I try to installa Arch Linux (the latest version) from a CD
But, i have this message errore:
Scaning for boot CD ROM device...
Failed to mount /dev/cd/cdrom-sr0
Failed to mount /dev/cd/cdrw-sr0
Failed to mount /dev/cd/dvd-sr0
Error: cannot find booted CDrom device, cannot continue

And the CD is in the CD-ROM of the computer... how I can resolve?

download another iso image and make a new cd. check the mdsum to ensure it has been copied correctly.

How I can check the mdsum ?

Download the md5sums file
wget ftp://mirror.cs.vt.edu/pub/ArchLinux/iso/latest/md5sums.i686
then check compare it with the iso
md5sum -c md6sums.i686
make sure both the iso and the md5sums.i686 files are in the same directory.

Change "i686" to "x86_64" in the previous post if you're installing a 64-bit system.
