[Solved]Why isn't the following being automounted on boot.
UUID=F0DCBBC8DCBB877E /mnt/elements ntfs-3g users,uid=1000,gid=100,fmask=0113,dmask=0002,locale=sv_SE.utf8 0 0
if I do a mount /dev/sdb1 as regular user it works fine.

Do you have the 'usb' hook in your HOOKS in /etc/mkinitcpio.conf ? I had the same problem some time ago.
