How can I change the size of a existing partition in arch-installer?

I want to edit the size of a partition on my computer in the arch installation.
How do I have to set up the cylinder/sector usw?

I would recommend using the gparted livecd to resize your partitions before installing. http://gparted.sourceforge.net/livecd.php

Yes: Syslinux will do the trick, and if you would have had a look at the site then you would have seen there is a link to how to install gparted on a usb stick.
