I've searched around and can't really find what I'm looking for in an audio player(though Audacious and Exaile come close). What I need is one with these aspects:
- Based on GTK+
- Relatively lightweight
- Skinnable
I'd like something with a look similar to the Winamp "modern" skins, rather than the classic ones, but I can't find anything like this for Linux.

What is wrong with XMMS?

Based on your needs, I'd say take a look at xmms or bmpx.
If you don't really need the skinnable part, take a look at mpd + Sonata or Goggle's Music Manager.

Well, the main issue I have with Audacious and XMMS/XMMS2 is the whole archaic look. I'm looking for something akin to Winamp modern skin families; something that looks more like a integral part of my desktop rather than an ugly patch-on.

Then just use something that will adhere to whatever GTK theme you're using. I recommend MPD + Sonata.

This makes your request impossible.

I recommend mpd+sonata, because mpd's awesome.
Otherwise...Wine, perhaps?

Nothing's impossible... creativity is key. I you can't achieve the look you're looking for natively, either code something yourself or look into running winamp through wine (here's an article on running winamp through wine if you're feeling lazy).

It's easy. Install bin32-wine from the AUR, download the WinAmp installer, and run
$ wine /path/to/installer.exe

I'm a fan of quodlibet. It's gtk+ and pretty lightweight.

It's in the extras repo, and quodlibet-plugins is in AUR.

Thanks everyone.
Heh after researching and such, I've settled on using Audacious, oddly enough. I've fallen in love with the Openbox+ttm look, so it typically matches perfectly.
