Compose key sequences differ from /usr/share/X11/locale/en_US.UTF-8

Ever since the new Xorg that came out a while ago, my compose key sequences are slightly different from what is found in /usr/share/X11/locale/en_US.UTF-8/Compose which causes some annoyances. I've been adding random dead keys here and there to type stuff, but I really like the compose key.

Line 813 for example reads:

<Multi_key> <underscore> <o> : "ō" U014D # LATIN SMALL LETTER O WITH MACRON

But when I type in that combo I get º. (I used to get ō)

Is there a list of the new compose key sequences anywhere? If not does anyone know how to edit compose key sequences? (I don't mind recompiling xorg.)

No, xim won't work since I need scim.
