Determining needed modules [solved]

Is there a good way to determine exactly which kernel modules are used by a piece of hardware? I have MOD_AUTOLOAD set to no and everything works except my Sprint card. If I set autoload to yes it works. I thought I had all of the modules I needed loaded, but I must be missing one or two.

I thought booting with autoload to yes and watching the messages file might give me some clues, but it doesn't list any particular modules that I don't already have loaded, so I'm stuck.

Thanks

Re: Determining needed modules [solved]

A comparison of lsmod with and without MOD_AUTOLOAD should help. Similarly, hwdetect with and without the card plugged in.

Re: Determining needed modules [solved]

Awesome. hwdetect showed me I was missing the yenta module so my pcmcia card wasn't being detected at all. It's working now.

Thanks guys
