KDEmod 4.1 permissions problem

Hi, I have installed KDEmod 4.1 on my Acer Aspire One and to tell you it's working nicely!!!:D
Thanks for the developers who made this...Great Work!!

But I have some problems with regards to copying files, etc. I tried changing the permissions on my flashdrive but I can't seem to paste what I've copied...:(

I would like to have some advice from you guyz smile

edit: Even on my home folder I can't even paste the files I've copied...:(

Thanks in advance

Re: KDEmod 4.1 permissions problem

This is a known bug in KDE 4.1.4 and has been fixed recently in their SVN.

However, as KDE 4.2 is approaching soon, we will not provide a fixed package.

Instead, you could switch to KDE 4.2 RC, which runs quite stable and is a lot better than 4.1. Our packages also have the latest bugfixes from the 4.2 branch, so its actually not RC1 but KDE 4.2 pre-something wink

For instructions on how to change to the 4.2 RC, check this page
