He hoped and prayed that there wasn't an afterlife. Then he realized there was a contradiction involved here and merely hoped that there wasn't an afterlife.

Re: qt going lgpl

This is good news for me.
Now I can develop using QT for my work... yeah...
Using QT is always a stumbling block for commercial software..

Re: qt going lgpl

I think that Nokia want's to make QT more attractive to commercial software developers but doens't want to take GPL away from FOSS fanatics etc wink

I wonder when they will bring some linux phones to market...

They already have smile The Nokia N810 runs Maemo, and phones using the Goole Android OS use the Linux kernel (The N810 can run Android, too).

There's a host of Android based phones coming, and OpenMoko's a more hardcore option for developers really wanting in on the edge.

Damn, sorry. I thought it was. There are some options, though (there was a now-discontinued WiMAX edition if/when WiMAX becomes more widespread, you cant tether it to another phone, and it offers Skype). I agree that it's not a phone though, my mistake.

There's always the T-Mobile G1. It doesn't look too amazing on the hardware side, but be on the lookout for more Android-powered phones...

Upcoming ones include the G2, the HTC Sapphire (might be the G2), the Dream G2 from China (not to be confused with the others....), and the CompuLab Exceda. I can't wait for a really stellar cell phone running Android... the OS itself is nothing short of revolutionary. Think open (source and design-wise) iPhone smile

EDIT: Neo beat me to it
