pacman gives this error when I try to install something[SOLVED]

No matter what I try to install, it does this. However, pacman -Sy still works. Just noticed this today.

bash-3.2# pacman -S qtparted
qtparted package not found, searching for group...
error: could not open file /var/lib/pacman/sync/extra/alsa-utils-1.0.18-1/desc: No such file or directory
error: 'qtparted': not found in sync db
bash-3.2# pacman -S pidgin
pidgin package not found, searching for group...
error: could not open file /var/lib/pacman/sync/extra/alsa-utils-1.0.18-1/desc: No such file or directory
error: 'pidgin': not found in sync db
bash-3.2# pacman -S firefox
firefox package not found, searching for group...
error: could not open file /var/lib/pacman/sync/extra/alsa-utils-1.0.18-1/desc: No such file or directory
error: 'firefox': not found in sync db
bash-3.2#

That worked. Thanks.
