What drivers do i need for Windows to use my CUPS-PDF printer?

howdy, well, pretty much my subject hits it. i downloaded cups and the cups-pdf packages, configured it to be the default printer on arch, but im unable to print to it from windows. what drivers should i look for?

also, the same goes for my samba share pdf printer, what drivers should i go looking for?


i set up both options cause im testing which ones i like better, and see how they work. thanks for any help Arch'ers.

I don't know if a specific model is needed, but it should almost certainly be PostScript.  I remember when I was playing around with Hylafax and print-to-fax options, most people recommended Apple Writer drivers since they're pretty generic and included with Windows.  Print to PDF should be similar....Just a good, standard PS driver so the conversion is getting clean input to work with.
For color there's a recommendation for a Deskjet 1200 C PS here :

Get PDFCreator for windows, I believe it will do what you want and it's free.

k, i got the PS driver, i couldnt find specified printer you said, or the tutorial said. and for ROOKIE, thank you for the program, im just trying to find a way to get it to work just incase if other people needed to use it
