Re: January 2009 Screenshots

I ditched my panel and my old conky config for something simpler.

Still Openbox, and that's Baltimore.

Unfortunately, no...but I wish I was! I'm in Silicon Valley, but I muchly prefer the Eastern or Northern US. It's much too sunny over here. sad You're lucky...is it snowing in MD?

this is very nice (as are most of the others to be honest).  May I ask where you all get wallpapers like this?  they literally look like wallpaper, and I think it is very tasteful compared to the distracting images some people use (i'm lookin at you anime fans...).

i don't know if any of you recognize my name, but I am migrating over to this wonderful linux community from gentoo as I have been banned from OTW for like 2 months now (don't worry i'm harmless).

Gnome-look.org and deviantart.com seem to be popular ,someone posted the link to this one earlier in this thread I think.

This is my port of enigma desktop to linux.

2009-01-19-201153_1280x800_scrot.png

It's openbox, tint2 and trayer, the images and transparent sidebars are part of the background.

Complete instruction are available on my blog.

Download the conky configuration files, fonts, scripts and GIMP layered background.

Re: January 2009 Screenshots

Very fancy kremso smile. You know you can get fake transparency with conky too? I don't really get your 'all or nothing' comment... Although to limit it to a certain area you'd have to adjust the TEXT part of your conky config heavily to position everything right, and I guess that's quite a pain to get a good layout.
