My wireless connection does work but it is generally very slow to connect anything. I notice this most with webpages but it's the same with ssh and pacman upgrades (although most of the repos are on webservers so I guess that's the same thing).
I have noticed that once the connection is made the speed is fine; I just Syu'ed last night and after an excruciating wait to get started the downloads came at about 350-400k according to pacman which is about the same speed I can get with my macbook.
Anyone have any ideas what I can do to improve my connection?
I've installed, several times, a daily build of the wireless drivers from wireless.kernel.org but they've yet to make a difference.
Here are some of my settings
