Via Artigo, Kernel 2.6.28.1 USB recognition problem

Hey guys,

I just updated to the 2.6.28.1 kernel a couple of days ago and rebooted my little pico-itx box.  When it came up, the boot sequence got to my LUKS passphrase and was waiting for me to input it...but then I noticed something horribly wrong...my usb keyboard and mouse hadn't been detected.  A moment of frustration, and I booted into the fallback kernel instead...which asked me to enter my LUKS passphrase, waited a couple of seconds, and then recognized my mouse and keyboard.  I then entered my LUKS passphrase and everything booted up just fine...well, networkmanager gave me fits so I went back to just using the network daemon instead (not as big a deal).  So...now I'm stuck having to use the fallback kernel and I've tried rebuilding the initrd.img with no luck.

For reference, I have a generic USB keyboard and a Logitech iFeel mouse attached to the computer.  Also, when 2.6.28 rolled around, I had to reconfigure my xorg.conf because X wouldn't recognize the mouse or keyboard.

Who's got a fix?  big_smile
