Error in installing packages

nopaste ? no idea .
Tried to copy - paste with kwrite / nano but failed.
Highlighted the whole text and tried to paste with simultaneous clicks of both the buttons but again failed.
Didn't work within code / quote too.

Mr.varaahan you can try to install digikam after clearing the cache. I used take a backup of the cache , clear it and install the package if I get such errors. http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Arc … bit_system. This link also may help you.

Copied /var/cache/pacman/pkg/* to my home directory and cleaned the cache. Then ran pacman -S kaffeine yet the problem persists. And I could not copy and paste the error file because it is too large.

It may not be possible for any one to help without seeing the error messages. The other way is you can try to compile and install it using abs.

Got it !
Installed kdelibs again by "pacman -S kadelibs" and linxvmc by "pacman -S libxvmc", then kaffeine and digikam by pacman.
Both are working now. Thanks to all of you.
