Suspend monitor via keyboard

Hi, I'm using Xfce.

Is there any way to suspend a pc monitor (energy saving mode) using a keyboard shortcut, without waiting the time preset on xscreensaver?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Suspend monitor via keyboard

xset dpms force suspend

Use xbindkeys or your window managers own shortcut tool to bind that command to a specific key.
