Although I've been using Linux for around 6 years now, I've only recently moved to Arch.
One of the (many) things I love about Arch is how user driven it is through the AUR, and I would love to contribute a package myself.
The package in question, Last Agent (http://code.google.com/p/lastagent/) depends on a couple of packages only available from AUR. Is this possible, and if so, how does one cater for such dependencies in the PKGBUILD file? I have not been able to find anything specific in the AUR guidelines and PGKBUILD howto.
Any pointers in the right direction would be appreciated!

Yaourt can deal with those.

You list them as deps just as if the packages were in the official repos. It is up to the user to download and install the dependencies.
archlinux - please read this and this — twice — then ask questions.

Excellent!
The second answer clarified the first a little more, so thanks to both!
