[SOLVED] Touchpad problems with Kernel-2.6.28

I just updated my kernel to 2.6.28. Everythink is working fine (including my Atheros AGN wireless big_smile). The only problem I have now is the Touchpad. After update the double click on the touchpad and the scroll function is not working any more.

Anyone knows why or is having the same problem?

No, I think I'm not. How do I configure it?

The day Microsoft makes a product that doesn't suck, is the day they make a vacuum cleaner.

Re: [SOLVED] Touchpad problems with Kernel-2.6.28

Thanks a lot!!! It works! big_smile I cant live without touchpad scrolling. lol

I also needed to create /etc/hal/fdi/policy/shmconfig.fdi with this content:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>
<deviceinfo version="0.2">
 <device>
  <match key="input.x11_driver" string="synaptics">
   <merge key="input.x11_options.SHMConfig" type="string">True</merge>
  </match>
 </device>
</deviceinfo>
