galeon and MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME

Hi. I've just upgraded my arch linux (with new version of mozilla) but I got a problem with galeon.
I cannot start it: it says

Ensure the "MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME" environment variable is set to the correct Mozilla installation directory.

Mozilla and epiphany works fine.
I've tried to follow this thread http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php? … lafivehome
suggests but I can't make it work out. Can you help me please? Thank's.[/url]

Re: galeon and MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME

I had the same problem as well but I finally found out that I should point MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME to "/opt/mozilla/lib/mozilla" and then galeon would run

export MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME="/opt/mozilla/lib/mozilla"

Re: galeon and MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME

Thank's for your reply. It works but I have some other problems too. Now if I launch it from gnome-terminal it works only if I set the MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME every time I reboot the pc. If I launch it from a gnome-desktop or menu launcher it doesn't work. Quite strange.

Re: galeon and MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME

I don't know if this is the right thing to do but I put a file in the /etc/profile.d/ directory that set MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME to the correct path:

# su
# (password)
# cd /etc/profile.d
# echo "export MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME="/opt/mozilla/lib/mozilla"" > galeon.sh
# chmod u+x galeon.sh

and then next time I logged in it worked...
