Re: Failure to mount USB Media player.

For shoots and giggles I thought perhaps it might be the version of libc....

Attempted to downgrade via pacman -U complained about dependancies, so I downgraded both gcc and binutils to get me back to 2.8, which i know I had when this thing last worked....

All that slight effort was for naught.

usb 4-2: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 5
usb 4-2: configuration #128 chosen from 1 choice
resolve-modalia[21580]: segfault at 0 ip b7fd8b9e sp bf9f7664 error 4 in libc-2.8.so[b7f7c000+13c000]

EDIT: as for now the thing is charged and that really all I needed... and ever since the gnome upgrade this thing has been testier than... something that gets cranky really easy. *considers just starting all over*

Re: Failure to mount USB Media player.

hi orionfyre,
I was getting the same/similar error:

resolve-modalia[936]: segfault at 0 ip b7f6cdee sp bfa83ef4 error 4 in libc-2.9.so[b7f10000+140000]
usb 4-3: USB disconnect, address 9
usb 4-4: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 10
usb 4-4: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
resolve-modalia[1003]: segfault at 0 ip b7f52dee sp bfb69fd4 error 4 in libc-2.9.so[b7ef6000+140000]

I had installed kernel 2.6.28 but had yet to reboot.  Rebooting resolve my issue.
