Hello folks, I about to install kde4.2, I need an advice, which one to install, kde4.2 from main repos or kdemod4.2?

KDEmod. It's modular KDE - I don't see why that could be a disadvantage

I think it's going to come down to personal preference. Why not back up what you have now and try them both? Either way, 4.2 looks very nice.

I must install one of them because I'm a cuban guy and my internet access is very limited, so, I got to go for sure. In the past, I really liked kdemod 3.5, can anyone of you tell me about the present?

The main (only?) difference is now splitting packages. Kdemod4 is now pretty vanilla, they don't use as many patches as they did with 3.5. If you're concerned about internet access that still could be a pretty important distinction since you would only need to install what you would use, but that for you to decide whether or not you want full KDE or just some parts.
