Is there a working NetworkManager for KDE 4.2?
I tried the couples found on Aur but with no success.
Anybody know what program Ubuntu uses on it's KDE 4.2?

Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty is the first version that uses KDE 4.2 and it's still in alpha. It uses NetworkManager 0.7, although I'm not sure about the version of Knetworkmanager.

Try this.
Haven't tried it - still waiting for opera's x86_64 qt4 shared build in order to migrate.

Until the new plasmoid is released, I'm using this: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=19526, which seems to work just fine.

In case you can settle for any network management that works, try
# pacman -S wicd
It's GUI, sits in tray, etc. ... http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Wicd

Dyscoria linked to the article. This is the part you're looking for:
We're trying to have a first working version out within the next couple of months, hopefully in time for the distros that ship in spring. So the applet won't ship with KDE 4.2 we're planning to release it individually so you (or your distro) can grab it in the meantime. We're looking at putting it into KDE 4.3 then.

I'm not able to build that
EDIT: I tried the networkmanager-plasmoid-svn and it works fine, and very nice looking also

How did you fix the networkmanager 7 dependency? I tried installing it yesterday but still had errors

I have installed network-manager-applet-svn, but it's not showing any internet interfaces. Only empty board, but network-manager-applet seems to be fine. What's wrong?
