SLIM No Password

Just made a fresh install and I've added the login manager SLIM.

I created another user account for non-root usage.

Unfortunately, I have not set a password for neither root nor the non-root account, and can't get past the login screen as it asks for a password I don't have. Any idea how I could get by this? Or disable slim from loading?

I've tried reaching (with no luck) the rc.conf file from my Windows partition so that I might remove SLIM from DAEMONS - which is what SLIM is using to initialise.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

After the Slim login screen appears, Ctrl+Alt+F1 will bring you to a console login.
