Hi!
I tried to configure my pppoe connection according to the Beginners Guide in wiki.
At first it seemed OK, the link was up, and everything worked fine. But after some minutes, the connection simply dies (no ping, nothing), however, pppoe-status still lists an ip address, and still says the connection is up. ifconfig lists a new interface, called ppp0, with the same IP (even after the "dying"). After all, I can only bring up the connection by running pppoe-stop and pppoe-start again.
I also tried to configure the pppd way, which did not even connect.
I did not found nothing unusual in the logs.
