netcfg profile syntax

I haven't been able to find the official netcfg network profile syntax (is it not specific to netcfg?). There are examples in /etc/network.d/examples/, but no specific and concise docs on what each option does. Already tharied Google, the forum search, the wiki, and the netcfg man page (no other docs installed with netcfg, I checked). Most of the options are self-explanatory, but I'm not sure about SCAN.

Thanks for any clues on what it means, or (even better!) the docs.

Re: netcfg profile syntax

...That doesn't answer my question. I've already checked the wiki (as I said), all they offer is two example excerpts. There is no specific info on what certain lines do.

Re: netcfg profile syntax

late reaction, but as far as I look into the wiki article, most lines are talked about in the article.

Re: netcfg profile syntax

There is a complete example in /etc/network.d/examples.  As far as I know, it contains each line netcfg supports.

archlinux - please read this and this — twice — then ask questions.
