Hi Archers,
Any LKML reader (I'm not) has any idea why the latest -mm patch is so outdated?
Disclaimer: I tried to STFW but any search including -mm patch will bring you half the internets as a result.
TIA

thanks lucke, didnt find any "official replacement annoucement" but the -next tree has been described as "Andrew's dream" so it looks like you may be right. in any case, -next seems to be a nice new toy.
/edit: anyone using it? any feedback?

latest one includes:
Currently (next-20090213) those trees get merged into linux-next (auto updated every 2 hours):

-mm isn't that old, I bet the patches will still apply to 2.6.28.5: http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/ … 8-rc2-mm1/
