Forum topics staying marked as unread after reading
Title sums it up; I have to go to the forum index and click "Mark all topics as read" or it constantly tells me there's new topics no matter how many times I've read it. Not sure if this is a bug or I'm missing something.

Yes, but isn't that a good thing?
* Show new posts since last visit
* Mark all topics as read
It should be: Show new posts since last time you marked all topics. Sometimes I want to do a search or go to the wiki/homepage (I should make more bookmarks) and then I end up reading all new topics because they may not show up next time.

Well after I've read the topic, it's not fun to have to go back to index, show new posts, make sure i've read 'em all, then mark all topics read.

The forum has been this way as long as I can remember. The topics show up as read after your session has expired. Personally, I just go through the list of posts since last visit, mark as read, then click new posts once more. Not a big deal by any means.

Yeah, I'm not saying it's the end of the world or anything, and I don't mind doing it the way I have been. I just wasn't sure if this was only happening to me, or if everyone else, if it had been brought up.

punbb handles 'viewed threads' a bit different.
search the forum archives. this was brought up shortly after we made the change to punbb.
