how do i get kde to draw openbox desktop?

how do i get kde to draw openbox desktop?

i tried kwin --replace but i dont get icons or wallpaper

any ideas?

no, because you get all the other kde stuff as well.

I just want to use the kde desktop (for multiple wallpaper)

I  believe under System Settings if you go to Default Applications there is a tab for Window Manager under which you can select openbox. I'm not quite sure what you're looking for here (KDE features, but openbox drawing the windows?), but off the top of my head, I think this solves your problem. (This was on KDE 4.2 and I'm going from memory, I'm not on a Linux box atm)
