upgrade only certain packages with yaourt

I am using the latest version of yaourt. I want to reviews the packages that can be upgraded and chosing which one to upgrade; also for the aur. If I do yaourt -Syu --aur yaourt propose me to upgrade the base packages firt and if I refuse immediatmly quit without looking at the aur. I want to be able to upgrade package from the aur without being forced to update the base package is it possible. If not; is there other tools taht can do this.

I think you should be able to do something like

yaourt -S aur/packagename

and it'll update that package.
