Re: EXT3-fs error

I have done fsck a million times and it fixes it for about one login but then the problem comes back. My other drive is having the same problem too. I can install windows on both hard-drives and windows doesn't complain or have any problems.

When I fsck I boot to live disk
then I

fsck -y /dev/sda1

this is only 15gb of my 500gb hard-drive.
Am I fscking wrong?

Re: EXT3-fs error

So - have you tried to mount it and check how much space is left?

[edit] You _may_ have to use fsck -t ext3 or ... ignore ext3 and just fsck it as ext2 (e2fsck or fsck -t ext2)
Then you can turn it back into ext3 with tune2fs -j /dev/sda1 (I think, don't quote me on that)
